Serious Friends
Multi award winning image 2023/2024 with 8 International Awards including 3 gold medals - including from the prestigious Toronto International Salon.
Sparring partners
Sparring Partners was captured at the end of a photoshoot when the two horses, Morocho and Frank, were running free in the menage. The dust was kicking up and the late sun was glinting across their coats. Image obtained a Gold Medal at Toronto International Salon of Photography.
Equus
"Equus" – the classical Latin name for 'horse.' This image captures six stunning horses belonging to the talented Benjamin Atkinson. Originally photographed at the Cotswold Show with bustling ice-cream vans and brightly colored shops in the background, I was inspired to transform the scene into a more serene composition, allowing the horses’ beauty to truly shine. FIAP Bronze in 2024 from Hong Kong and CAPA Gold 2024 from Toronto International Salon
Faithful Friends
Faithful Friends was captured at a local ploughing match, and turned into a fine art edit in photoshop. Awarded a honorable mention in Italy and a judge's choice at regional federation.
All That Remains
Multi award winning image of my rescue west highland terrier.
Connections
Connections was created to show the deep connection between horse and model. The background was darkened to isolate the subject and create the illusion of a studio portrait. This image received Highly Commended awards in 2 salons of the Chianti Roads Circuit in Italy.
Dust covered
The light was beaming into the wood shed of a friend, but with no camera to hand, it fell to the iPhone to capture the scene. Careful positioning to get the aspect and composition right, and a few tweaks via LR Mobile ensured that this scene was not missed. This image gained a silver medal at the prestigious Toronto International Salon of Photography.
Last letter
Last letter was made in honour of all the fallen soldiers and those that were left behind, their futures altered forever. This image received a Bronze medal from the prestigious Toronto International Salon in 2024
